As the project leader, I oversaw the development of a design for a new bank building in Hamburg that presented a significant challenge. The building was located in a heritage area of the city, and our goal was to create a concept that both preserved and enhanced its historical value while meeting the client’s needs. As part of our efforts, we aimed to design an office building that blended seamlessly with the surrounding environment, with attractive and functional floor plans. Achieving this balance required careful consideration of building codes, client desires, and city regulations. Through our work in developing a concept that met these criteria, we were able to obtain preliminary permission to move forward with the project.
