The Hafenpark Quartier Frankfurt is a prominent urban development near the European Central Bank, featuring 290 residential units, a hotel, and optimized views of the Main River and Frankfurt’s skyline. The design connects exterior and interior spaces, providing each apartment with fantastic views and sun-facing terraces. The ensemble includes green spaces, playgrounds, and various housing typologies, such as townhouses and penthouses. As a young architect on the competition team, I was tasked with designing the building’s façade, which was challenging due to the project’s size and diverse requirements. Ultimately, we won the competition, and the building with the façade I designed was realized. The façade has since become one of the most distinctive features of this project.
