As the project manager of the competition, I played a crucial role in overseeing the development of this iconic design. Located in Frankfurt’s Hafenpark Quarter, within sight of the ECB high-rise, the design highlights the growing importance of the banking metropolis. At the mole’s tip, a significant structure with a wide cantilever creates a unique waterfront area, featuring a hotel lobby, main Hall, and beach club. The hotel has 300 guest rooms, while the boarding house, situated above the 12th-floor skyline bar and spa, offers 120 guest rooms and a stunning view of Frankfurt.
The facades fan out towards the east, providing skyline views for many rooms. The hotel lobby descends to the main Hall, boasting a bar, deli, and event area with a spectacular view of the Main River and skyline.
