In my thesis, I examined the design of a music center in Tehran, dubbed the House of Music. This multi-purpose center included concert halls, galleries, a museum, training rooms, an education center, shopping spaces, cafes, and social areas. My design goal was to infuse fundamental music principles into the building’s form and space organization, emphasizing rhythm and time, crucial in both music and architecture. To highlight these elements, I integrated unique circulation features like ramps and stairs into the design. Inspired by the visual depiction of music in dance, I aimed to devise a form embodying both elements. I strove to boost the sense of rhythmic movement within the structure, creating an immersive experience that resonated with the audience.
